Early Menominee Language Resources

This is a bibliography of very early Menominee language materials. Some of these materials are very hard to find and we will add resources as they are found.

- Bruce, W.H.: Vocabulary of the Menomonee 1852 In Schoolcraft (H.R.), Indian tribes, vol. 2, pp. 470-481 (720-735 on pdf), Philadelphia, 1852. Contains about 400 words.
- Campbell, John: The Affiliation of the Algonquian Languages 1879
- Derenthal, Rev. Odoric: Sermons for Sundays and Holidays, in Menomonee 1886; Vocabulary of the Menomonee Language 1886; Bible history translated from Chippewa to Menomonee 1887 (These might be at Marquette University?)
